Dog owners and a varied assortment of their furry friends turned out for the annual American Cancer Society Bark for Life on June 7 at Lili‘uokalani Gardens on Banyan Drive in Hilo. The morning gathering drew two- and four-legged buddies “Ready To Relay!” The ACS event is a fundraiser “honoring our Canine Caregivers,” said spokeswoman Sharese Thomas. Plus, there were plenty of activities, including doggie portraits, agility demonstrations and a walk through the park — fun for the entire family.
